The ESRF will provide free metrorail passes to those participants staying at the hotel. Travel Awards The ESRF encourages participation from as many qualified applicants as possible. Since medical and graduate students live on a limited budget, the ESRF offers travel awards to help reduce the cost associated with travel expenses. Accepted applicants may be considered for partial travel awards based on financial need and abstract quality. Medical and graduate students interested in applying for travel awards should indicate this on the online Abstract Application Form and enclose a letter from their Departmental Chairperson or Dean (not the research advisor or mentor) stating financial need. To be considered for the travel grant the letter must be received before the deadline date you are applying for. Applying for a travel award in no way affects the acceptance or judging process. Students selected for travel awards will be notified in writing.
